This is a VERY nice fixture that includes 3 MR16 (form factor or size of the bulb) bulbs that utilize the GU10 base (bulbs with two posts that are 10mm apart - hence the 10 in the GU10 base designation).While it is very nice to have the bulbs included it seems to be a perfunctory gesture meant to be a marketing tactic to make the fixture more appealing to the buyer. BUT BEWARE: the included bulbs are NOT DIMMABLE. There are many reviews for this item which include complaints about this very issue which begs the question: Why bother including non-dimmable bulbs when many (if not most) have to buy a set of dimmable bulbs?I would have otherwise gladly given this a five-star rating had the manufacturer done the right thing by including dimmable rather than non-dimmable bulbs. This may seem like a trivial point to some but apparently this is not the case for many who have purchased this item. The inclusion of non-dimmable bulbs means two things for me: First, I will have to buy 6 dimmable bulbs (I bought two of these fixtures hence why I need 6 replacement bulbs) and, second, I will also need to make a trip to my nearest Goodwill to donate the 6 non-dimmable ones that came with my two fixtures. There's no way I can, in good conscience, just throw the non-dimmable bulbs away - that would be even more wasteful and we certainly don't need any more unnecessary waste in the landfills.If one is reading this and thinking that this issue regarding the bulbs is a picayune detail, I ask you to consider this: One can always brighten (or dim) a dimmable light bulb and if one doesn't need or want to dim the light then one can still use dimmable bulbs with a simple on/off switch. But the converse can't be said of the non-dimmable bulbs included. In other words, dimmable bulbs will serve the needs of ALL users while the latter only serves the needs of SOME. The inclusion of light bulbs with this fixture seems to be a marketing tool to get the buyer to believe they're getting a good value. It's not much of a value if one has to buy extra bulbs. In my not-so-humble opinion, the inclusion of non-dimmable bulbs, in this case, is a somewhat moot point. So for many others, like me, who want/need dimming capability this will mean the addition of an unnecessary expense which indirectly adds to the cost of the fixture. There goes the value quotient.Other than this one gripe the rest of my comments about this fixture are positive: It appears to be well made and finished very nicely. The other fixtures in my bedroom (including my ceiling fan) are brushed brass with black detailing. I was looking for a fixture to light some of the artwork I have in my bedroom but wanted something that was in keeping with the rest of the fixtures in the room (from a design perspective) and to this end this fixture is perfect. The photos of this item are true to what it looks like in reality: The entire fixture is a quality matt black finish with each 'head' finished with a wider band of brushed brass near the top and a narrower brushed brass trim ring at the bottom (note: the small brass ring at the bottom must be unscrewed in order to replace the bulb). The brass details serve beautifully as styling cues (if this meets one's needs and taste). The fixture does NOT look cheap at all. It may not be the least expensive fixture on Amazon but it is by no means the most expensive either. Given the perceived quality vs. the cost of the fixture, I'd say this item rates very highly on the 'best bang for the buck' meter. But, again, that meter would register a perfect 10 had they included dimmable instead of non-dimmable bulbs.I hope this review helps someone.Nice quality lights but the bulbs that shipped with it are not dimmable. Not the end of the world but annoying and now I have 3 useless led bulbs
