The lights were easy to install and are attractive. I will be curious to see how long they last but overall happy with the performance. I was originally concerned because I received a strange email from the vendor about expectations of the lights. Also the shipping information was not quite accurate.They’re okay. They don’t produce much light but to be fair I have them handing over the chain link part of our fence that’s on the edge of our woods. I wasn’t expecting a flood light or anything but from the house at night all you can really see is a dim point across the yard - so it helps to know where the edge of the yard is, but it’s not like I could see one of my dogs walk under it which is a disappointment and the real reason I bought these.As we continue to do work out back I will likely just pay to run electrical and have a flood light installed up in one of the trees to light up the yard Vs small / cheap solar lightsWorth the small price to see if this would work first and I’ll leave them out there to continue to outline the perimeter but I think you would need many of these in a very small area to get any type of result where you can actually see around Vs just a single point of lightClips are a waste as are the batteries. I replaced all with better solar batteries after a week. I found a work around to the measly and flimsy clips provided. Now the lights are sturdy and last throughout the night. Output is fantastic.I ordered what appears to be the same set (KJ-KayJI ) in July 2020. Half of them would not charge batteries and when I placed a charged battery in units they lit up during the day. I replaced batteries in other 3 units and will see how long they last. The originals show a lot of wear on the solar cell. I hope these replacements I ordered hold up longer.Love these lights! They provide a great nighttime curb appeal to my home not without using my electricity to light the way. Everyone that visits is in instant awe of them. I will definitely order again if needed and have recommended to family members.Our friend helped us to order the first set so we can receive it sooner. Everything went ok except we had to coat the metal parts with plastic dip to prevent rust. So it took us sometime to finish installation. Overall, it's worth to purchase... at that time... around 2 to 3 months ago. During this time, the lights functioned well. Not like super bright light but it helped a lot in the dark. So we decided to a 2nd set.Even the price went up a little bit, we were fine with it. Then, here came with all the problems... First, I received a box of 5 lights in the box which should be 6. So I requested a replacement and ship back the 5 lights. And few days later, I received a box packed by a poly bag. When I opened it, the box was damage and parts were missing. I had to request another replacement. Then, I was told that I can't make another replacement since I already requested one. Now, I need to place another order and hope it will go well this time.6/19/22 update: the most current order was received. Everything looked ok. The lights have been working well.The lights are fine for decoration. The mounting brackets strip easily and make the clip mounting useless. Update: The company reached out regarding the screw issue. They stood behind the product and made things right.My yard is partially shaded throughout the day and I've not had much luck with solar lights working very well. Initially, other solar light have been great, but within a couple of weeks being in place they would began to lose their brightness and only would be work a few hours each night… a total waste of time and money.I was needing some new lights to illuminate a new fence and was planning to have electricity run for conventional lighting when I came across these JSOT Solar Gutter Lights. At under $40 for a 6 pack of lights, I figured I'd give them a try, if for nothing else, to help me determine how many traditional lights I might need to have wired for by an electrician.Well, right out of the box, the JSOT solar lights performed much better than an expected. And, I was thrilled with their soft, warm "incandescent" glow vs. the more common harsh, white glare from other LED lights. I mean, does anyone like obnoxious white light of traditional LED's? The JSOT light's clip on light diffuser only added to their nice subtle glow.With the variety of mounting options, installation wasn't difficult. Once, I figured out the best mounting configuration for my fence line, I had all 6 lights in place within 30 minutes. The only thing that seemed concerning was snapping the diffusers in place. It takes a bit of force to get them to lock into the light's case and I was afraid one of the tabs might break off from the pressure. However, all went together w/o issue.As for their performance, it's been very impressive. They've been up for nearly two months and have not lost any brilliance nor longevity. Even with my partially shaded yard, all six lights still come on just after dusk and stay on well in to the wee hours of the morning.On a side note, the instructions do recommend for "best results" to replace the batteries every 3 months so, when deciding where to mount them, make sure it's easily accessible.Simply put, I cannot recommend the JSOT Solar Powered LED Gutter Light anymore. The are great.Very pleased. Changed the batteries to 2500mah as the ones supplied are only 600mah. They are bright enough and last about 6hours. Just remember the higher the (mah) on the battery then the longer they last but also take longer to fully charge. I pre charged mine before installing. Had them 4 weeks now and no problems. I would bring them indoors in the winter and once a month wipe the solar panel over. In the summer. Winter time they will need alot of daylight to charge them so don't be surprised if they don't last long as we have short daylight hours in the winter. Why do I say this well I'm an electrician by trade and just giving you some handy tips to keep them in good order.As long as you place these lights where they get plenty of sunlight hitting them, they work really well. I had hoped enough light would charge those placed on my front guttering but it was not to be. Those placed on my conservatory guttering to the rear however are splendid.However the metal fixings they come with, which I have used to place over the gutter has rusted badly and I now have yellow marks staining my white plastic guttering---and it doesn't wipe off. My husband thinks a non corrosive metal should have been used because we have a lot of rain in this country so they will inevitably get wet. Poor design.Bought these a week ago. Pleasantly surprised with how good they are. They worked straight out of the box so didn't need to be charged in the sunlight for first use. Brighter than I thought they would be. Overall excellent purchase.We purchased these for our static caravan as some of our previous ones didn't work. These are the 3rd set we've had in 3 years, they look much better and lights the decking up well till it's daylight, so hopefully they will last longer. Would recommend.In winter, the daytime is short and the night is long. I really need such a fenced solar light, which will make my home more safe. The quality is very good, the brightness is just right, the waterproof function is strong, easy to put on the fence, this is what I want very satisfied.
