The product is ok. Nothing spectacular but was inexpensive so little risk. I actually applied transparent tape to adhere to the bottoms of the bottles. I didn’t want to use the 3M adhesive bc I wanted to be able to transfer when I emptied a bottle. I have only illuminated for a couple of hours so far so not yet sure how long the batteries will last. All in all I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend for similar application.You get what you pay for with this sticky LED. It is most certainly NOT a coaster as the product page states, but instead is an extremely poor quality LED board with two button cell batteries. The quality of the board is so bad that when you push the button to activate the lights and switch through the modes, it rarely works. I believe it is a combination of lack of switch debouncing (causing the lights to flicker rapidly through modes with one press) and poor contacts with the battery. As the board flexes from pushing the button, the batteries lose contact and the board resets.That said, these are extremely cheap and you get a whole grip of them. The adhesive appears to be genuine 3M VHB double sided tape, which is really strong. The packaging also included all installed batteries plus additional batteries. This is offset by the design though, which requires completely destruction of the 3M adhesive to change the batteries (and no extra adhesive is included).I purchased these to make bug traps, and they do the job pretty perfectly. You attach one of these to the bottom of a scotch glass (or shotglass) and then pour in about 2 fingers of apple cider vinegar. add a drop of Dawn dish soap to remove all surface tension. Place the trap (with the light on solid) in a darkened room and bugs will POUR into the trap. I've caught literally hundreds of gnats, flies, and beetles with this trap. I also helps to use a disposable plastic cup so you don't need any clean up (just pour in the toilet, flush, then throw the cup out).These are perfect to replace some older lighta on glasses I already had. Perfect!If the bottlesare flat from the bottom, it will wobble. Bottle needs to have some type of indentation. But they worked great! Bought another pack for other projects and displaysI love the idea of this and they oook amazing when working. But unfortunately they just don't work long. I had several bottles of liquor that would sweat from being in a freezer or simply being outside. This then made the components wet and killed it. The lights stopped working. Literally disposable afterwards. Wish they were made with a better water resistant grade.Truly love the idea, and have had them for a while now, but they could be better. I think my biggest let down was that even when they are off they still kill the battery. We purchased them to add color while entertaining, but everytime we want to use them we have to buy stock in batteries, 12 coasters, 24 batteries. Great idea, just needs some tweaks in the design.this was not what I expected. I expected a coaster, what I got was a sticker that you put on the bottom of a glass which is not reusable and therefore not a useful item and certainly not a coaster. I don’t suspect that it’s even stable if you stick it to a bottom of a glass. Might be useful as a craft supply.I had seen these at a concert and everyone loved them.I can't wait to use them.You stick these on bottles or candles, turn them on and they sparkle and look great. Easy to use
