the best light everI must confess to being a photophile - I LOVE LIGHT. Inside I have dozens of SmartHome lights that perform a myriad of patterns - I love the ambiance different light brings to an area. When I saw this set I was so excited to take my light obsession outside and it is incredible.These lights are easy to install and operate. While these light sets operate off of Bluetooth signal you can add a bridge sold by FVTLED for a reasonable cost which will allow for WiFi connection and voice control. Personally I prefer WiFi control of SmartHome equipment as it allows for much greater flexibility and range.The app is well designed and while it doesn’t allow for as much customization as some of the other smart lights I have it does allow for far more than many others I’ve reviewed. With the app you’ll be able to easily group lights and name the said groups, set timers, adjust colors and even have the lights change to the beat of music (as picked up through your phone’s microphone).The lights themselves are very well constructed and are made to hold up outside. They are sealed and water proof. I’ve found these look really amazing on the edges of walkways and steps and really help when getting around at night. This is especially nice on steps that have an irregular rise.The lights do not put out a huge amount of light - approximately 12 lumens so this is definitely more of an accent type lighting rather than security.I have loved this set and would like to test more products by FVTLED as they seem to hoping to expand their line of products. This is a brand with a lot of potential that I will continue to add products from to my ever growing light collection. ❤️?❤️I got a 10 pack of these to illuminate the 5 steps leading up to my pool deck. Drilled the proper sized holes with my Milwaukee hole saw kit (swoon) and popped them in. Ridiculously easy. I wish these had a proper remote control rather than just bluetooth / app only control. But otherwise they work well (and look awesome).I like to have outside lighting when I can, and the easier it is to make that happen the better. These are some good lights and look really nice once installed. And my favorite part is that they are super easy to install. This is what I was most concerned about, having never done this type of in-ground lighting before. These work really well, and it's easy to control them with the app. I like that I can set the mood by changing the colors, and even set it up to match my music on my phone. I love that! I'm really happy with these and I'm giving them 5 stars.These lights are great,perfect size, bought several sets of them for the eves of the house and ceiling of the man cave. Brighter than expected
