This review is for using the lights inside our tent in the evening while we finish cooking, cleaning etc. It makes it an easy target to aim for from the showers, for example.Plenty of light to see everything in the tent, but definitely not so bright you can read by. Very lovely ambience to do some e-book reading while relaxing before sleep. We have a larger tent and utilized both to light up around the top, sides, middle and bottom on the inside. It was actually a little bit too long, and had to get a bit creative with the excess.We fully solar charged the lights before our 1 week camping trip, and this was enough to get us through 2-3 hours a night of usage without recharging them. One started to run a little low, but that was the more used set of lights.Note - if the solar panels are getting any passive light, they won't turn on. Before the trip I was testing them and one of them would blink on then immediately off. Once I covered the solar panel it was just fine. They probably were getting a bit of passive charging in the tent during the day that allowed us the long usage. I had debated running the line through the electric port in the tent so that the solar panels were outside, but the convenience of having the ability to turn them off for sleep while inside outweighed that option. I'm glad we set it up the way we did.So these lights, until prepping for our next camping trip, are kept in a dry a/c environment and even when used, out of any water/rain. I cannot really comment on how well they hold up outside.For our use, I 100% recommend.
