So far so goodMy classroom is decorated with lights, which emphasizes the jungle motif. I frequently receive compliments on how nice the lighting is.So far these lights are working fine, although they arrived with three bulbs broken. The 50 ft. string doesn't come with any extra lights (as of this writing, the 25 ft. string comes with 2, which is kind of weird?) I had to search Amazon pretty deeply to find dimmable replacement bulbs, and the only ones I could find turned out to be different from the bulbs that come with this set (and were $15.00 for four bulbs!!) If you look at the first picture, you'll see there is a vertical string of bulbs that looks like it could be seen from space - those are the replacement bulbs. They have four little LED strips instead of the one strip that the other bulbs have, so they will literally (temporarily) blind you if you look directly at them! One other thing that is conveniently left out of the description is that, while the bulbs are dimmable, the string of lights itself of course comes with no dimming capability, so if you want to use that aspect, you'll have to invest in a dimmer, which for me was another $26.00. Just something to consider.... I was really glad I did because I considered all 50 of these lights to be a bit bright for the neighbors to have to look at each night. I'm pretty sure the pictures here are taken with the dimmer at 50%. Oh - and be sure your dimmer does exactly what you want. I wanted my porch lights to come on each night at a certain time (at 50%) and go off a few hours later. I ultimately had to get a timer hooked to my dimmer hooked to my lights, and I still have to manually click my remote to set them at 50% each night! This thing turned into a science project -I wanted a bright clear LED light for my enclosed sunporch. It's a good sized room and I want to be able to hang out at night and do more than just reading (eg. jigsaw puzzles, crafting, etc). Because it is a 3 season room I wanted to be able to use this room into the fall. I'll be leaving the lights up year round so I needed something that would withstand the cold temperatures we get in New England, as well as our very hot spells. My lights arrived well packaged and with no damage. They are quite bright and I've really been enjoying them! My ceiling is high and also vaulted to about 12', so lots of trips up and down the ladder on a very hot day. It took me a couple of hours by myself but is one of those easy to do high impact projects. I used the outdoor Command light clips (17017CLR - AWES) to hang them which worked very well. The product is well constructed. The lights are evenly spaced as detailed in the manufacturer's photos and all bulbs were securely attached to the wires. There are small clips on each light that can be used if running along a small rope (for example, across a patio) which I didn't use, but again, all were well attached. The light is very even amongst all bulbs with consistent color and no flickering. The only downside is that 3 bulbs burned out almost immediately. I reached out to the vendor to find out where to get more via the website and wasn't sure if I'd hear back. However their response was extremely fast. They are sending me free replacement bulbs (already on their way). Excellent customer service!!!My bedroom has very poor lighting options - no wires for ceiling lights, the switch-operated power outlet is located in an unideal location. I have a small desk light for immediate light, but have been relying on my string lights to help illuminate my room.Prior to this, I had an old globe string light that provides warm lighting (more yellow-is colored), and was looking for a cooler white color to provide better work lighting (work-work and hobby work).Item purchased was the White LED Globe string lights, 25 ct. on the strand. These are a wonderful cool white color, which significantly brightens my room. It does not provide as much of a cozy-warm glow, so if you are looking more for ambient lighting, I'd probably advise against the LED lights based on what I see.I've included a picture of my old string lights (on the left side of pic; sorry, not sure the specs/info on this, as they're quite old) and the new LED string lights (right).Packaging was alright, wires were a bit messy upon opening and required light untangling. Word of caution: some of the lightbulbs were not screwed in as tightly as others, so checking them as you remove it from the box/styrofoam would be a good call.I'm happy enough with the purchase that I plan to order a second string so that the color is consistent in my room. The lights are great! They are bright but also dim enough for my bedroom when i want soft light.. they were also great for when we went camping this summer. The only thing is both sets I've gotten at separate times have had multiple light bulbs burnt out from the beginning. The first set only had 1 but the second set had 2 burnt out and 2 more burnt out during our weekend camping trip. It was disappointing that it came with burnt out light bulbs and so quickly to burn out, but i will just buy replacement bulbs and hope those don't burn out so quickly either.I love how these lights look on my deck; they set such a nice vibe at night. Just be forewarned that these bulbs are EXTREMELY delicate thin glass and break very easily. I also had an issue with a lot of the bulbs being burnt out, but I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement quickly, so they handled the issue really well.I bought a set of 50 about a year ago and they have held up nicely. I wanted to add more, so I bought another 50. They give the right amount of ambiance for my patio and I like the fact that if one bulb goes out, the whole string does not. The bulbs are standard and easy to find on Amazon.
