First. Not each light is addressable and can change color individually. All or none. The pics make it look like one can select individual colors for the 4 pods.Second. Some things are poor. Like waterproof plug is inserted backwards. Not a big deal? But it is because it cannobe be removed without damaging cap because wire were soldered onto connector AFTER the plug was put in...so just have to use electrical tape to waterproof.Thrid. All leads from controller to each pod are too short. So controller has to be outside car. For me its not a big deal because installing on motorcycle. But for others maybe big dedUPDATEseller.reached.out and fixed.issue #2. Also pointed out i can buy extensions to fix #3It works great!!!!! And it looks great at night!Nice lights for the price. Remote seems cheap, but no issues so far. Many reviews about adhesion, which I've had NO issues. I installed in my semi and have traveled 5000 miles back and forth through 5 states with some BAD roads in numerous areas and haven't had one light come loose. Get em already.Cut the 12V plug-in to cigar lighter slot and connected to fuse box radio fuse. I have a 2005 Explorer so finding a spot to place the strips under the dash was a challenge; and the ground wire was just long enough to connect to the only metal bracket available. Nice set. Just would have preferred the wire was solid instead of stranded.Brightness is great, depending how you install them lol. In actually surprised how well the adhesion has held up during this 100° summer. I love the remote feature, i let my daughter control the lights from the back seat lol.Arrived promptly and undamaged. All the settings worked as well as the music mode in which the lights change according to music you're playing. Biggest drawback for me is that the tape was long expired even though I received it in just one day. I have to figure out how to use some other adhesive to attach the lights to my car without damaging it now so there's some out of pocket cost if you don't have adhesive materials like tape etc. Besides that, product is exactly what you want if you want a cool light show in your car without getting pulled over (flashing/distracting LEDs are illegal in some states in the US)They didn't stick under the dash like they were suppose to but their great I stuck then to the carpet part they work great awesome buy and will buy againExcellent item, bright, multi colours and modes, going to be buying moreI purchased these lights for a family member in their 2007 Chevrolet Uplander. I installed them 2 in the front and 2 in the back underneath my driver and passenger. Installation was simple, I used some rubbing alcohol to clean the surface first before I stuck it because the adhesive that it comes with claims to be “3M” but looks a knock off so I am not sure how the adhesive sticks but after trying to stick the adhesive that comes with the LED strips it wouldn’t stick AT ALL as it would just fall off. I used a heat gun to heat up the adhesive and still won’t stick and eventually just peeled off the LED strips so that already told me about the quality. Whoever said that this is “3M” double sided tape is lying because it’s not. Therefore I had to run to the store to buy ACTUAL double sided tape and used a heat gun to apply it to really make sure it was stuck.Couple things to note about installation, the set comes with no instructions (nothing about the product, any tips for installation just the remote, and LED strips.) It comes with a small music box that has to be upright because the sensor for the remote and all the wires run out of this box so it must be stuck somewhere that is accessible because you’ll need to be able to point the remote at it. Also the set comes with two long length of wires for the back and two shorter length of wires for the front.. I do wish they were longer because unfortunately I do not think this would be good in a longer SUV because they are longer and the length of wire is too short but it all depends on the vehicle and where the placement is. I spent a little extra time tucking the wiring underneath panels and cleaning everything up to ensure nothing would get caught or rub on anything as I like it to look neat and tidy but was a challenge again because the wire was very tight because the length of wire.Couple things to keep in mind while purchasing; 1. This comes with a 12V accessory adapter with a button you can turn on off that illuminates red but just because it turns off doesn’t mean the accessory socket doesn’t have full time power. In my application the accessory socket has power only when the ignition is on or engine running and no power when the ignition is off but in some vehicles it might have power all the time which leaving it plugged in could drain the battery.The lights overall are bright enough and I like the switch where you are able to turn it on and off for at night and in the day and also there is lot of light choices to choose from. In the pictures on Amazon I believe are overkill because they do not at all look like that. You would need 2 or more strips to create that brightness. The music feature that it comes with is a complete gimmick in my opinion because all it does it switches colors and flash but actually doesn’t go along with the music and the audio box it almost right beside the stereo. Otherwise I think it was a good buy and I am happy with for now but I guess we will see how long it lasts as I am not sure what to expect in the long run. Maybe good maybe bad!Easy to install, great price however the lights do not keep their colors as well as I would have hoped. The customer service team from the seller have been excellent to deal with and they have handled my concerns very, very well. I will definitely deal with this company again.Worst product ever. Packaging looked like it had been returned once before. The plug broke the second I plugged it in. Now the broken piece is stuck in my dashboard . Will never buy this brand again. Inferior product and would not recommend for anyoneThese strips are very bright and the remote takes you through a good number of modes. I will be installing on a Kymco gti 200 this spring. Couldn`t be happier !
