In the past I've had 6 or 10 feet battery powered timered string lights. I wanted to wrap wreaths for my windows in these so they would come on automatically each evening.First, the timer function works well and the remote is a nice addition, so I can turn them on and off whenever I want.Second, the batteries have lasted for several MONTHS now, with the timer and remote feature. I have been very impressed by this.However, third, I was looking for a warmer light to match my warm tree lights. Even the warm white lights here are very white, bright and not warm. One nice feature of the remote is that you can dim the lights, and this helped to cut down on their brightness, so they blended in a little better.And, finally, forth, be prepared to spend HOURS trying to keep them from tangling and then untangling them when they do! As I said I've only had 6 or 10 feet lights like these before and even those can get tangled, but because they are so short, they can easily be untangled. With these being 99 feet, they are impossible to keep from tangling, even when carefully trying to unwrap them and systematically put around something--like my wreaths. Then, once the start tangling, good luck trying to untangle them! It is so very frustrating. I spent about 5 hours trying to cover my three wreaths! Have them out for Christmas now but will put them out for different occasions. Really impressed for the price.Not so good but bright maybe for indoorLights got tangled together when taken out of the packages. Instructions need to be included. Spent an hour trying to untangle them. Managed to untangle one set.
