The warm white 2700K is bright with excellent CRI.However, only the inner ring of LEDs produce color. Therefore, color at 100% brightness is still dim.Also. The way this Model B fit into my 3.5” junction box did not align with the screw holes by 90 degrees (it would have fit perfectly if rotated by 90degrees, but there were not receiving holes for the screws there). I was able to forcefully push it in, but it left a gap (not flush mounted) requiring extra insulation. This also required washers to secure, since the unit could not be rotated.I attached photos with decreased exposure to see the LED rings.I already had recessed light fixtures and wanted to turn them to Smart lights. All the lights in the market either had a jbox or s very fat light unit the would require me to increase the space within my existing j box.This one is super thin and did fit the small width I had with the existing small jbox.The set was easy. You can connect using WiFi or Bluetooth. I couldn't connect via WiFi due to band issues but was able to connect via Bluetooth.The app is easy to use and can be connected with Google home and Alexa (though the functionalities are limited outside native app)Good light easy to set up and change colors for the seasonUpdated: My original review is below. After posting this negative review the company contacted me two different ways to finally resolve the original issue. Their responses and actions this time were much more responsive. I am assuming this is because of my negative review. I have since bumped up my review from two to four stars.Original Review: I bought this set to replace one of my original six purchased in January, 2021. One of the original six has been a pain to connect to wifi to set up since my original install. Recently, we had a house guest who flipped the switch too quickly in a row and it kicked all the lights off wifi. I spent two days trying to reconnect this particular one without it working. I finally gave up on the faulty light and ordered a new one despite the extra cost.Customer service is out of the US, and very difficult to work with since it takes around 12 hours to reply and their responses sometimes do not make sense. I sent numerous videos, pictures, and descriptions showing the faulty light failing to connect and blinking non-stop every time it was turned off and on. Despite this, I still received the same answer (description of how to connect) from the company and nobody sought to make the issue right. Rather than replace all of them with a different brand, I decided to try and replace the faulty light. Surprise(sarcasm), this did work and was up and running in less than 10 minutes.The lights are pretty good when they work. Overall, the app works well and when the lights are in proper working order it does not take long to connect. The ability to change the color was nice in the beginning, but the novelty wore off pretty quick.If I were to do this again, I would not purchase this brand.Love the product. Easy install. Everything worked right out of the box and had it up in 10 minutes.It’s not a huge deal for me, but you may want to consider buying the lightbulbs from the same manufacturer if you have a vanity or other fixtures in a room. There are about five colors that look different on this LED then they do on other smart lights in the room. I noticed them during testing, but I’m so happy with the product that I’m not changing the bulbs or this new fixture. It works great.These are easy to install recessed can fixtures. They have a wide light spectrum from a 2700k warm almost light yellow to a 6500k bright white color. Husband really loves to use these while playing video games or listening to music. Never ending color options! Be sure to download the app so that you can control the lights with your music, games, movies, etc. It is definitely a great experience.When these arrived, they were packaged well and included all parts needed as well as thorough instructions. These would have been super easy to retrofit with existing cans but we installed where we use to have surface mounts. My husband quickly decided where he wanted the lights and cut holes with a template. There is ample room in the J box for easy installation. Comes with strong springs and a nice flush trim plate. It was a breeze and we had them working in no time. Just remember, these lights should not be used with a dimmer switch. In order to dim these lights, you simply use the application. Makes it really convenient and user friendly. Our kids are really enjoying all of the dimming and color options when playing different games on the television. Really sets the mood!Lights are working fine so far. Installation was easy and the app is helpful to control.One concern is that, whenever we turn on the switch all lights keep blinking continuously until we turn it off and on for couple of time.These lights are very easy to install. The trickiest part is if you're starting from scratch on installing recessed lights is the actual recess itself. These lights are amazing. They have 8 different lighting scenarios. It's fully controllable by the Google home assistant or Alexa or the android and apple apps for the lights. They are very bright. The kids love that they can play music from the lights and impress their friends. These are a great value for the money
