Rechargeable LED Under Cabinet Lights - 12" Dimmable Motion Sensor for Kitchen, Wardrobe

I had pretty low expectations for these, because I've used similar products before and was never really that impressed, and how exciting can some tiny lights really be? I needed some lights for a linen/cleaning supply closet, and boy did I never expect how happy these would make me. The warmest color temperature setting is lovely, they were super easy to install, the motion detection is great, and most of all I love the soft fade up effect when they turn on.... it's the little things!! As silly as it is, such a simple product really does bring me joy.I’ve purchased a few of these 12” over the years and most have lasted. I wanted a longer light for a dark desk armoire. This barely covers the width and I still dim the light.An awesome feature, most don’t have.And, if set on motion sensor it remembers the dim setting! Nifty!Battery life seems okay so far. Sensor reliable.It’s also nicer that it has a control button, rather than the usual side slide control (black on black), which makes it harder to know your setting.Magnets are strong, but should be longer.I have to admit I am pleasantly surprised with these lights. Bought a pack of two on a lightning deal, then liked them enough to order 2 more. In my opinion, these should be no more than $25, not $33-36. Also, was hoping they would be a tad brighter, but the four lights together throw off a decent amount of light. I bought them to temporarily give light to a kitchen pantry until we do a remodel which will include hard wired lighting. The motion sensor on these lights works perfect: when the door is opened all 4 lights go on at pretty much the same time. Even though they are programmed to turn off after 15 seconds, they will stay on as long as you're still moving and they will sense your movement. They seem to sense motion for a good distance, as most times I have to shut the pantry door to get them to turn off. They also can be dimmed and the color temperature changed from daylight to warm if you need those features.Now the 2 tips with one being a possible drawback:1.)The back of the lights have a "sweet spot" for the magnetic mount. BEFORE you peel the double sided tape off, move the mount side to side to see where you get the strongest magnetic hold on BOTH sides of the magnetic mount (pull up on each side with your fingers to test the strength). Each individual light MAY have a different spot that works best like mine did. When you find the sweet spot, peel the tape carefully so the mounts do not move, then carefully mount the entire unit where you please. I guarantee you the people leaving negative reviews about the light falling from the magnet did not follow this process I've just described.2.) If you plan on using the motion sensor and have a similar shelf situation like mine, DO NOT mount it farther than where you see mine in the picture. The reviews leaving comments about the motion sensor not working properly more than likely are expecting too much from this simple sensor. This is the potential drawback of this item. I would have liked to place them deeper in the cabinet to spread out the light more evenly from front to back of the shelves, but then again my particular shelves are very deep.Overall I would definitely recommend these, I'm just hoping I don't have to charge them too often. Also, props to the manufacturer for using a USB-C charge port unlike most of the ridiculous companies still using outdated Micro USB.These are great and I loved them at the start. I put them under my kitchen cabinets. But then I ended up recharging them over and over. I feel like I have double the lights because half are recharging while the other half are being used. Not the best for use in high-use areas.Needed lighting in the closet and did not want to run expensive electrical. These were perfect. They stay on as long as movement is detected or you set to be on permanently as well. Go off after 20 seconds of no movement. Easy to install.Originally got one of these for under our kitchen cabinet for coffee bar. Like it so much bought two more for the rest of the cabinets. Works perfect. Super easy to install and I like the magnetic, makes really easy to take down to charge.They make the kitchen look so beautiful at night. I also have one in my pantry and the coat closet.The auto function doesn’t work on mine. It just stays on no matter what. I contacted seller and they sent me replacements and the issue is the same. Also the magnet holder isn’t strong so they constantly fall off my cabinets. Replacing with a better brand.
