Easy to install as under cabinet lighting. I would recommend maybe taking your time to make sure it is straight if you have any OCD though. The reflection on my floors not being straight drives me a bit nuts if I let myself look at it too much 0.0’I live in an older house now. My house was built in 1879. While the previous owners have updated the kitchen and bathroom, I find the lack of brightness in the house to be an issue for me. Additionally, the lighting they have installed is too bright and glaring for my tastes. Therefore, I have installed a ton of led lights everywhere. These particular lights are great as they offer dimming solution so they do not have to be on bright all the time. Highly recommend these for everyone, everywhere. I can’t describe how much I love the change they create in a kitchen. I use them both above the cabinets and for under cabinet lighting. We have them connected to a wall switch, so we don’t use the remotes, but our kids have them mounted under their beds, and the remotes work well for them. Don’t hesitate to buy these lights!I highly recommend this product for under cabinet lighting. The warm white was an excellent choice for us. The 3M tape on the back holds very well to our under cabinet surface. We decided to double up the lights to provide a little extra light under the cabinets - we ran a strip along the front under side and then ran it back right next to the first strip. It provides a perfect amount of light for us and the dimmer switch allow us to dim if needed. We needed two sets of lights since our cabinets are separated at the stove hood.Tip for new home build or kitchen remodel: install outlets in your cabinets connected to a switch or use smart switches if you like. It allowed us to hide all the wiring in the cabinet and have a nice clean look. It took about an hour to install the two sets. Most of the time was emptying the cabinets to thread the wiring through the cabinet and drill a 1/2” hole in the bottom of 2 cabinets.It is very easy to meticulously install with the 3M tape. Only product improvement I would recommend is adding 3M tape to the back of the dimmer switch - we had to find another solution (command hook adhesive strip) for the dimmer under the cabinets. Inexpensive yet quality solution for under cabinet lighting.I like this unit, I have used it under a couple of bathroom washstands as a courtesy light and installed another length into a drinks cabinet. If you can solder then you can split the cable and insert longer runs easily enough. Take note of the three 'trim' adjustments in the picture gallery and be prepared to change the sensitivity, duration and trigger threshold to suit your needs.The light output was plenty, and it had an in-line dimmer which is good to have (which I didn't use). The stickiness of the tape was barely enough though. Make sure the surface you adhere to is perfectly clean with rubbing alcohol first, or it WILL come loose. Otherwise you will need to use a staple gun as I did.I have a theory that if you have mood lighting, you can't see the dust. I have accent lights in several parts of my home. These are the best so far for adhesion. The first set I tried had to be tacked up with staples at intervals to keep them from falling off. Thank heaven they stopped working and I found these. They stick very well. I have them upside down in an alcove and on the back of a cabinet. And they stay where I put them, even around corners. I don't use the remote. As they are LED and use very little energy I put them where I want them for brightness and just leave them on 24/7. One set lasted almost four years. The first set I purchased was at a big box store and they cost over $60 to go 12 feet. These are a much better value and are longer. I always go with warm white so I can't speak to colored strips. I currently have a set that's been on for 3 years. I do recommend these.These 2-pin strips are 10mm wide; not 8mm wide like most 2-pin strips are supposed to be. This made it difficult to install these with connectors/adapters that expect the 8mm strips. I had to cut ~1mm off each side for about 1 inch in length in order to force-fit them into the 8mm adapters I bought with them. Even then, the pins on these strips are almost too wide to touch the connectors on the adapters. It would've been nice if Lepro actually listed the width of these strips in the product description.Llegó en excelentes condiciones. La caja es pequeña, pero viene con todo lo necesario. Ilumina lo suficiente y se ve muy bien.De muchas opciones qué hay en Amazon, está fue la única que cumplía con lo que necesitaba, ya que el enchufe de luz (se conecta a un enchufe porque se necesita conectar el transformador que viene en el paquete para tener voltaje de 12v con el que funcionan las luces LED) lo tengo conectado a un apagador, y quería poder prender la luz desde el apagador de pared. Muchos otros productos vienen con un control, lo cual es necesario siempre estar usando el control para prender, lo que me resulta incómodo ya que se puede extraviar el control. Hay otros productos, que vienen con un sensor para encender la tira LED, lo cual haría imposible poder prender la luz en el espacio que yo lo requería.Por tal motivo, este fue el único que me funcionó. Viene también con un adaptador que sirve para atenuar la luz, pero decidí conectar sin usarlo, y automáticamente se queda la configuración de mayor brillo.My wife and I ordered this LED Strip Light to use in our kitchen to light up the counter. This is by far our favorite light that we have used for this purpose! The strip light easily and securely attached to the bottom of the cupboards above the counter top, and because the strip is thin it is completely hidden. The dimmer switch works exactly as a dimmer switch should, allowing the light to be adjusted from a very low level warm light up to a very bright light. The adhesive used for this light is very strong, so the light will stay where it is intended to be. The strip is also clearly marked where it can be cut if you do not require the full length. We are 100% happy and satisfied with this strip light!Easy to install on the top shelf. I am hoping the adhesive lasts to hold it up without the screws. Soldering with a solder pencil seemed to be key as my gun over heated the tiny pad during a test. My 4 year old played with the roll for a few days and had it strung all over my house the strip was surprisingly durable with only one broken led at the end of time with it.Disappointed with this purchase…the lights in person are much more fluorescent than the warm yellowish white of the pictures. The remote is attached (I’ve bought Christmas lights for less that had a wireless remote…come on) and they are not very bright…not to mention within the two minutes I had them plugged in they got HOT!!! kinda scared to use them…would not purchase again
