I purchased these lights to add some atmosphere in the backyard by the firepit. I do have to say that it was a bit difficult to string them on the trees and shrubs as the strands of wire are so delicate. This leads to the problem of one of the strands of lights not working upon arrival. Rather than return all the lights in hopes that the next shipment would all work, I decided to see what the problem was with the faulty set. I took the back of the solar panel off and the problem was evident (with the help of a magnifying glass). One of the tiny wires had come loose from a post on the circuit board. A teeny drop of low temperature solder fixed the problem. Other than that, the lights are great, much brighter than I imagined they would be. One other thing...I wish the wire going from the solar panel to the wire for the lights was longer so as to make it easier to place it where there is sunlight for a longer period of time. All in all, I would purchase these again. If you should decide to buy them, handle gently!
