The first string of bee lights we purchased was the longer set -- we bought it for our dark hallway when taking in foster children. We have never turned off the bee lights and they are still shining bright and sweetly -- over three years later!!The children love these gently warm lights and it takes away fear of the dark and helps them feel welcome in a new home.We just bought the shorter strand for one of our tiny bedrooms as our four year old is starting to wonder about monsters in the closet. They were a little too bright for him over his bed, but perfect when we hung the bee strand loosely bunched up together in the 'scariest' corner of the room. He went to sleep right away and we've finally had a good few nights rest without him waking up scared.LOVE these bee lights, highly recommend! Best to plug in and leave on in a place where kids can't touch, but can view for years of joy!
