Designed with a low profile and shallow installation depth for tight spaces in recessed or surface mounted installations, the innovative LED87 button lights offer a low profile and shallow installation depth can be surface mounted or recessed for a built-in look within Shelves, under and inside cabinets, curios and displays in fine residential and retail environments delivering strong light output with the latest in LED technology. Includes 72 inches of wire, button lights can be wired in a series to one another up to the maximum load on the power supply used. Class II, 24V remote and plug-in transformers allow up to 20 button lights to be wired together.. all steel construction, can be recessed or surface mounted with all necessary hardware included for either installation. Low profile and shallow installation depth. Smooth and continuous dimming to 15% using an electronic low voltage (elv) dimmer. Supplied with 72 inch wires, cutout template included for recessed installations. Must be used with a class 2 power supply: en-2460-rb2, en-24100-rb2, en-2460-p-ar, en-24100-277-rb2-t. 4.8W high powered LED included: 2700K - 3000K color temperature options, 24V, 180 lumens, G4 base, 70,000 rated hours. After researching for days, I found this 2.25-inch LED puck lights that were (a) black, (b) warm and (c) fits smugly with my antique library wall. The library originally had halogen bulbs that were clunky, heated too fast and with very weak illumination. You would burn your finger if you touch the halogen ones even after a few minutes of turning on. I can proudly say these lamps are perfect replacement - just the right warmth (2700!), fits very well and was relatively easy to install. I bought and used 6 of it.One tip: the installation directions are sparse. If you are installing multiple lights chained together, highly recommend to buy "WAC Lighting MTB-01 Multiple Terminal Block-1 Input/Output". The circuiting goes like this -Power -> Plug-in Transformer (120v to 24v) -> Multiple Terminal Block <- (each of) 6 lightsi.e., in that way, you can turn on all 6 lights together (or turn it off). If you don't chain, then you need a different circuit.Even after hours of turning on, these lights barely warm up. Super happy - me and our books!
